About the product
Onigurumi trees grow in abundance in the Aizu region, and in autumn they produce a lot of fruit, which can be used as food. The wood is a deep brown, and is used to make furniture with a rich, luxurious feel.
This bench uses Japanese walnut for the seat, and Zelkova wood is glued to the end surface to improve color contrast and prevent the seat from warping. The paint is made with beeswax (Tokito Bee Farm) and perilla oil (Kiri no Sato Sangyo Co., Ltd.) from Mishima Town.
